"Premium" is easy to print on a box. Proving it is the hard part. A Sauce product passes through six tracked stages before it reaches your hand — and at every one, there's a record. Here's the whole journey, from a licensed farm in the Emerald Triangle to the shop that sells it to you.
1 · Cultivated — licensed farms, tracked genetics
It starts in the soil. We source from licensed California cultivators in Humboldt, Mendocino, and the wider Emerald Triangle — operations with verified soil, water, and feeding practices and strain genetics tracked back generations. No mystery inputs, no off-book flower.
2 · Harvested & cured — slow and cold
Flower is hang-dried and cold-cured to protect the volatile terpenes that give each strain its character — the exact compounds that heat and rushed processing destroy. For the material headed to live resin, it's flash-frozen instead, locking the terpenes in at their peak. Patience here is the whole point.
3 · Extracted — cold, to keep the spectrum
We extract cold to preserve a full terpene profile. Live resin for flavor, distillate for potency, liquid diamonds for the loudest pours — each method matched to the product line, never blended just to cut a corner.
4 · Lab tested — twice, by an independent lab
Every batch goes to an independent, state-licensed lab: potency, pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, residual solvents. We test to thresholds tighter than the state minimum, and a batch that fails never reaches a shelf — no remediation, no second chances.
5 · Sealed & coded — a one-time verifier
Each package is sealed with a tamper-evident silver scratch panel hiding a one-time verifier code, hashed and stored on our servers. Scratch it, enter it, and you know in five seconds whether your product is authentic — and whether anyone has checked it before.
6 · Tracked & delivered — METRC, end to end
Every unit is tracked through METRC and BioTrack from cultivator to dispensary — full chain-of-custody, all the way to the licensed shop that hands it to you. We never ship through unlicensed channels, and we don't sell direct-to-consumer online. If someone's offering Sauce "factory direct," it isn't Sauce.
Why six steps instead of three
Plenty of brands could move faster by skipping the cold cure, testing once, or trusting a re-sealed package. We don't, because the entire promise of the brand is that you can prove what you're holding. The extra steps aren't overhead — they're the product.
